I didn't want to put this in questions, because I'm aiming towards a discussion on this topic. I for one have only sold one box, and am going to keep the rest for later, as I know many will. So what do you guys think the prices will be in the near future, or even the distant future? Also, what's the current price on your server? I sold my last one for 12mil but they are decreasing in price rapidly (last I checked it was 8mil) this is on Ares btw. Anyone have a guess of how the price will go in the future? I have a feeling it is going to decline for another 2 weeks or so (constantly being sold) , then start rising (everyone saving them), decline again (people noticing the increase and all hitting the stalls again) , then sky rocket a couple months after (server nearly depleted of boxes). I plan to hold onto as many as I can for 3 months, and see if I can sell it then. I'm hoping for a price upwards of 50m, but i don't really know Thoughts?

These items kinda lose their interest after the events are over, especially on the newer servers since there aren't any "old" players who feel the nostalgia/know the history. It's more like selling a really old relic item in real life, if you want a good price for it, prepare to search for a serious buyer. People won't come knocking your door for it. ;D The conclusion: Prices won't go that high no matter how long you wait because joymax seems to use them as event rewards quite often and for the reasons mentioned above.

I get what you are saying but if I were to type in "WTS pandoras box" in union chat before this event came (as nobody was expecting them to return) I would have tons of 100m+ offers. Nostalgia is still out there.

With old relics its hard for a younger buyer to get enthused, but Pandora's boxes appeal to everyone no matter how long they have played. Yes, the older players value them more, but eventually the ppl that havent played the game as long will catch on and become like the older players. Bottom line: expect the prices to go back up after the event.

I guess it all depends on how many people hold onto them, a lot of people seem to have that incentive.
