Hybrid str blader? NO PLIS!!
really dude, dont do it,it will suck and you will regret it(i tried it...back at cap 70,but i tried it)
70 cap didnt really mean anything for any class, they were not as finely tuned as they are in 80~100 caps. Bladers for example, although they could kill it would take forever to do so, most would just run away and save pots. With the inclusion of Europeans and the 90 cap Bladers have seen many new statuses being added to their roster of skills that allow them to time their debuffs and cripple their opponents before going in for the kill. Yes a Blader does somewhat need crits for the tougher opponents, but with debuffs at their disposal they have the capability to do sustained damage to someone with chains and knockdowns while barely being hit.
And just so you know, it doesnt matter how much strength or intelligence someone puts in their stats, they always crit 2x the normal damage. For example a blader will hit 5K normal without imbue and crit for 10K, now if he was pure strength and using an imbue it would add the damage of the imbue on top of that to make possibly 12~13K damage. While the spike damage is very high the normal damage is not enough to sustain pressure on your opponent. Hybrids however can hit well hit well over 7K with imbue on the same attack and crit only slightly lower.
Both have their ups and downs, the obvious being that pure strengths have a bit more health and physical defence. While hybrid has slightly lower health, higher consistent damage and the possibility to keep their MP up longer with snow shield. Hope this helps, although I may be wrong, I have gotten very rusty with SRO
