I saw a thing on a site which is like a little program that tells u how much time is left for a certain person in the party (used for taxiing). Basically from what i'm reading all it does is, u type in the persons name who joins and u type in how long there gonna be taxiing for then when the timer is up a little alarm goes off.

Is this allowed or no? I don't want to get banned.

No it isnt...

It doesn't affect the game at all so it is completely fine.

Uhhhhhh, yea they do. They give you the ability to have more than one client open at once among other things. All the thing he is using does is act like pen, paper, and a stopwatch. Nice try though.

what?
You have just to write down their "finish" time and thats all..
and put in front on you a digital clock with alarm maybe lol
it won't take more than 10 secs or so to do that.

Pen & paper is not hard. This tool is obviously very helpful to afk players.

if your worried it counts as third party use this one its online so no download and its easy to use
http://perrysflash.co.cc/taxitimer.html
other ones that you download and acually connect with your client count as third party so that one is fine imo

no no the one I saw it wasn't even connected to my client. All it said would happen is I type in the names of the people im plvling and how long their buying then hit start and when the time is over for one the alarm goes back (then I alt tab, think) and it says time is up for ____ .

Also yeah I guess I'll just try that program, thanks.

ok anything that connects to silkroad client. ie. runs the client or program in someway is a 3rd party program. which is bannable.

if the program doesnt use the client its fine (unless its a clientless bot lol)

so perrys taxi timer is fine and you wont get banned for it.
hope you understand the difference

This is obviously common sense. If the timer gets the party times itself and could kick/join people or anything like that it would be considered third party. If you have to alt tab and enter the names yourself and hit some timer start, or anything related to that...then it's not bannable.
