PLENTY you say??? Do you still even play? I know many big players of the top guilds in each server will often run 5 goldbots and a few powerlvls to rake in gold, but that hardly counts as "Plenty". Out of 3500 slots, I'd say 50-100 are taken up by high players running their own personal gold monkies. Approx 50 are legits, 700-1000 are player bots, and the remaining slots are occupied by goldbots. This is, of course, looking at how many people log on after inspection at a time, how many ppl are pvping vs at later times when bot updates are out and everyone vanishes.

I know things have only gotten worse since I left and conditions were already like that when I left. So it is a conservative estimate. Hell one of the more prolific botters I knew on Xian ran a full 8 man party filled with just his own bots. Then he also had 10 or more gold/item farmers. There were plenty of others though. LOL sat on vent a time or two listening to them helping each other configure their fleets and just about lost it. These same guys sounded a lot like you too. They were never the problem. Was always "the gold companies". The 7-15 slots they all took up were nothing.



Those are just the ones you know and just what they have told you. I think you may be being a bit naieve. But when it comes down to it neither of us have solid numbers. All we can say is that bots are the problem both player and gold. No diff in my eyes. 2 sides of the same coin.

That may be, but I know that most of the goldbots made by actual player tend to be creative or funny names. It is usually a play of i and l with some form of their guild or their name. Even though it's a goldbot, they want other people to know it's their goldbot in case someone does a bot killing pt. There's a reason they make enough gold for themselves, but not enough to own a website dedicated to selling gold. I'm pretty sure none of the friends you mentioned have their own website where they sell gold on every single server...

No but they did sell gold to some of those websites that do. But usually only once they had all their char geared the way they wanted. The number of total gold bots is too much for these few gold selling companies. And they service so many other games. So yeah they rely on buying cheap and selling high"er". Also they can't bot on the other games like they can on SRO. If they did run fleets of bots to farm for gold on SRO it is the only game they do. All the rest they buy from players or player farmers. I know people buy gold on WoW which is really stupid as it is insanely easy to get gold. Especially once you cap as all EXP you get turns to gold. They are typically the players that sell the gold.

enough money to "live"? botting in an online game is living? rofl shut up...and no...i wont waste that much money in a dead game like this one...i said a life...did i said get a book? no, i said get a life, like a gf if hes a guy or bf if a girl, going out with friends, get married i dunno, there are many things that i could list as a part of a life, ofc it doesnt include botting and buying silk like crazy. But, why do i bother trying to explain to you anything if u think a book is "useless"? maybe the world will never know.....

wtf is wrong with sroforums, maybe sro players are getting tired of the nub players that move to wow, just coz they cant handle korean games and then come here for attention and they moving somewhere else. BTW which forum was this taken from, might move there.

Everyone can be killed... I kill Mythlee (best set on Rome, see rev6 link below) one-hit with Hurricaine Shot when she has snow on. She still rapes me most of the times tough
