Theres never going to be "No more bots" Just these little updates and "Bot Security Systems" to make people happy...the botters buy the majority of joymax's silk ...and therefore make them the most money. Would you stop your flow of cash just because some people are unhappy?

Would you stop your flow of cash just because some people are unhappy? I'm always seeing people saying things like "botters buy the most silk... cut off Joymax's main profit... blah blah blah...". Unless you work for Joymax, how do you even know where most of their revenue comes from? Certainly there are more bots (gold, player, etc) than legit characters on all servers combined. One can guess that botters buy more silk than legit players, but where's the proof? Let's assume botters buy 3x the amount of silk than legits overall. Joymax also earns revenue from other sources like advertising, license fees for their game to other companies (I'm assuming the likes of tSRO, cSRO, and others pay royalty fees), revenue from other games they operate (I know Joymax has at least 2 other games), and maybe other sources of cash. The Item Mall isn't Joymax's only source of revenue for the company.

Apparently they are all having issues with it though, and keep getting logged off after around an hour. Good riddance I say.

My wife logged into Venice multiple times today, first time every time. No premium or anything, in the middle of the day. It's a miracle I say! I think she said there wasn't even much of a delay waiting in the queue line. I'm starting to get a glimmer of hope of a possible sign of faith in Joymax. Just a little... but I'm waiting to see if it lasts.

I'm surprised to see that at this time half of the servers are still first try login. However half are now crowded.

Why can't joymax update the client to not work if you have a trace of bot program on your computer? like for example..both client or anything related to sro..can't start if their is anything similar to bot filing on your pc, And the bot would not start up or even work if sro is on...i hope someone gets what i mean...just like a blocking thing.

Because JM most likely receives kick backs from gold selling companies, to keep their bots in game. And same with silk buyers, why ban/remove your revenue? iSROJM is a business, not a charity.

Joymax wud make so much money if bots weren't their and if the game got a better reputation of no cheating or program usage. Than real players wud play it..like it..like its updates and buy silk from it.

Sure, but think about it, 700 across all servers. They either ban the ones that they don't receive money from, or ban a few just to make them selfs look good =_=. They obviously just don't understand that they COULD make more money, and since whats going on now is working for them, why change it? Why take a risk.

I wish people would stop spewing rumors like this without any proof. OMG SRF receives kickbacks from Google and Yahoo. That's why you NEVER see any posts in EB about "Google [bot]" or "Yahoo [bot]".

People hear one "fact" about Joymax from an unreliable source and immediately tell everyone. I wish people took the time to look into the fact more.

Well do you any other theory as to why they keep so many goldbots? You realize all they have to do is slam their face on the keyboard when making the bot ban list. Honestly, if you have a better idea as to why they cant ban hundreds of bots on each server a week, and why they don't just buy Gameguard, please, inform me.

I don't know enough about Joymax as a company to comment on reasons for their (mis)management of iSRO. I'm sure I could come up with a list of reasons they keep so many gold bots around, but if I list any of them, I'm sure tons of SRFers will start spreading those reasons around as if they are truth.

u dnt think this solution is gud? or will work if they try it? Because people have ways around things, all it takes is one smart person, with ambition and mis-content to figure it out. If that was the case that they did that, all they have to do is enable the bot to not give the value that it is working with SRO.

To be honest, all it takes is one experience programmer to working against these problems. I've sent numerous emails to Joymax offering my knowledge to them free of charge and I never get a single reply.

Unless you applied for an actual software development job that Joymax was announcing, but I doubt that since you said free of charge. They don't know who you are, or your capabilities. They have no info to do a background check on you, things like that. To them, you're just some random person who claims to know about programming. I know I wouldn't just hand over parts of my source code, or just give access to my systems to someone contacting me like that.

True, but they are perfectly capable of sending me a follow up email asking for more information. Certifications, resumes, previous employment, contact references. I mean, if they wanted to pay me for my work, so be it, but I wouldn't do my work specifically for the money.

Well there are also issues, including security ones, with allowing someone out of the country, let alone outside employment of the company, to work on a project. I remember when Joymax put out job announcements before, they said you had to be willing to relocate to Seoul, Korea in order to work there. If they're not looking for extra help, they may just not feel it's worth their effort to respond. I suppose a "no thanks" email would be at least something to acknowledge you.
