Hints & Facts that everybody has known since 06. (Shit was good in 05): -We see these threads every week, we don't give a **** anymore. -We already know that JM does shit when it comes to satisfying us. -Most of the SRO population bots, JM is servicing the botters by not banning them. Thus, JM is serving the majority of the players and their income. -You don't like it? Quit. Simple as that. Obviously, something within SRO is keeping you attracted to it. Sure, there are issues, but aslong as you are still playing these issues aren't serious enough.

Not just the fly thing. But the sheer number of actual players on it and it's size. Before that ban I and many close to me were preparing to quit. That ban almost got us to play another year. No wait that would have had to have been christmas 06 as I quit around nov 07. lol getting a bit fuzzy being away so long.

Gold companies are middle men. You go look at any of their sites at all the different games they sell gold for and you honestly want me to believe they handle all the farming themselves? Nope. Place the blame where it goes it is joymax's fault entirely. It does not matter what the community thinks ultimatly. If joymax will not ban you for botting 24/7 then why do the repetitive grind? If you let a bot take over lvling you you are not gonna have enough money for all the gear you are gonna go through why not run another bot or two just to farm. Not much risk of them ever getting banned. and it goes from there till many people are running several bots be they gold bots or multiple char bots. There is little to no negative reprocussion for doing this in the eyes of the people who do this and lets face it they are the community. Not those of us that were legitimate players. Joymax could and can stop this. If you can sit at any gate and count the bots coming and going you expect me to believe joymax can't? Joymax DOESN'T CARE. Say it with me. Most that actively play SRO either bot and or pay their SRO premiums and as long as the money comes in Joymax is fine with that. I have had dealings with many many other RPG even F2P MMORPG and the one thing that they all have in common and differ with joymax on is that regardless of the size of these companies large or small they all can handle the bot problem responsibly. If they can joymax could too. Bot bans will never get better. Game conditions will never get better. The last 4 years in SRO have been strictly down hill and it is not going to get better. Unless you are playing SRO strictly to hang out with friends you are seriously wasting time and don't waste any hope on Joymax. Trust me I know. </wall of text> This is not a rant against you in particular. More about the mindset that it is the bot makers or gold companies fault. Or that there is anything the community can and will do about it. Or that Joymax will do anything about it.

obvious, joymax you do not mind this and wash their hands saying "remember that you can purchase our premium for a preferred access" as if they were not geeks and no longer buy gold this would be different

Tian_Qiang wrote: SCREW JOYMAX U BAN THEY WIL STIL COME BAC ZZZZ BLOCK THE BOT PROGRAMS this is a very constructive post. i have a feeling it would be signifigantly more complex than just "blocking" the program. bots arent server side. they are programs that recieve packets of information, and respond accordingly with their own packets of information. its pretty much like you seeing a mob, youre eyes recieve the visual "packet" and your response is to click and kill it. unless they had a mouse movement monitor, and a keylogger in the program, they couldnt detect what is sending the packets.

When they started this wasn't it pretty effective? I remember servers being populated for about a month.

It was effective when they banned bots because of botting, now they screen past the people with premiums and most likely the gold companys that dont give kickbacks. The first few bans where in numbers of thousands PER server, now its less then 50 PER server and there are so many servers it looks like they are banning alot numberwise. I agree with ping_lo, though its partly the fault of the players who feel the need to bot farm in the game, it is ultimiatly the games fault for overlooking such events. Just logging into the game and walking around seeing the state of the game would do the sro dev team some good, but would they care when we fill thier pockets full of money anyways? probably not.
No matter what you think I beleive sro was at its best at and before 60 cap, though that doesnt include the european race which I love to death, but Anyone who played at beta to 60 cap would agree those where the best times. Since then sro has become just as corrupt as most of its players.

First of all, I'd like to greet everyone, as this is my first post. So please forgive me, if it doesn't contribute enough to the discussion. I'll do my best to improve.
We all know how the servers look like nowadays. To my surprise I saw an academy "for bots only". However since I'm relatively new, I'd like to ask if there is anything we, the players, can do to improve the situation?
