lol i got the sword FIRST KILL no joke.
i walked up to stronghold took him down in 4 hits and there it was.

I never actually hunted for it, I was killing White Tigers one day and a Bandit approached me ready to attack, I killed him and he dropped

it helps to read the quest properly too

my wife was doing the quest, but was fighting bandits outside the fort

I was lucky with this 1. On my first and second characrters I got them on the first kill.

I got in with my third bandit kill, then I accidently sold it to the store

The reward isn't so great so you don't have to put your life into it, think of it as a quest you are going to have until you no longer fight bandits or just forget about it and randomly kill a bandit one day and then it drops (a notice will show that you finished the quest so you don't have to your inventory every 5 seconds :shock:

It is just luck quest u can have it of first bandit or not even have it after 1000 but just leave the quest if u cant find the item :wink:

i killed only 1 bandit (giant) and got it so thats your best bet
