Well Im kinda broke so Im selling my Wii through ebay and Im afraid that I might get scammed through a chargeback. Is there anyway to prevent this? Ive been reading and I think I need to find a "Verified" paypal buyer to sell to or something like that? Worst case scenario is like they sending me the money, then I send them the Wii, after they receive it, they do a chargeback. Can anyone help me?

ANY help would be appriciated :)

I've tried using the search button and entered "Prventing Chargeback" and I got no useful info btw.

u can usually trust most buyers on eBay

if they have good feedback, then they probably wont do a Chargeback

How about you just don't accept PayPal then?

Make them send a MO or something.

eBay works with Interpol, if that happens open a dispute and report the user to the eBay police.

thanks guys

another question, what does a "verify paypal account" mean? Can they still do a chargeback if they have a verify paypal account?

Yup. It just means that paypal account is linked to a legitimate cash source (eg verified bank account). Even if a chargeback is initiated, you could still defend your case. Just to add, if you accept paypal as a payment option, only accept ebayers with verified paypal.

everyone is forgetting...you CANNOT chose who bids on your items, they could have all
100% negative and they can bid on your Wii, and there is f**k all you can do about it.

i have be chargedback through paypal before on an item never sent, i filed a complient with paypal and after it was sorted out i got my money back.
