eating oatmeal is perfectly fine,i eat it 30-60 minute before going to the gym, then once im there I keep my carb up with gatorade, i wrk out for 2hours a day.

All this talk reminds me of when I used to work out... I remember how boring it got because I was working out for appearances sake...That reason was too superficial and I had to stop...
I later went to a mix martial arts gym and I have to say it was the best workout I ever got simply because of the overhaul usefulness in the training... I built athletic strength, fitness and flexibility...and that was more meaningful to me..
Most guys at weight gyms have a well built figure but cant sprint for 1 minute to save their lives... Muscles built for show... It makes sense why they use steroids..
