apply pemdas, combine like terms....do the simple stuff....and ushould get x=5

<=> x - 2 = 3 or x - 2 = -3
<=> x = 5 or x = -1

ok let me try it
first put the 9 over the equals sign to make this equation:
x^2 -4x -5
then factorise it it will become this:
(x-5)(x+1) right?
so x=5 or x=-1 correct?
