I find this thread massively entertaining. At least we can thank Vegeta for that.

As for missing out on love, it varies according to the age, personality, culture and mindset of people. Personally I kind of envy people who don't have the need, or are even unable to grasp the concept of being emotionally connected to someone. Sure, it's great, but it can also be a pain in the ass when it doesn't go your way.
