Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the country's military is prepared to extend its operation against Palestinian Islamist group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Just a little timeline for anyone wanting to catch up quickly, lemme know if i missed anything.

-About a month of Israel being hit by rockets daily-
* Assassination of Jabari and the continuation of air strikes to Hamas arsenals through out the night. 13 Palestinians killed in total after all the air strikes.

* Meanwhile Hamas kept firing ~132 rockets within the 24 hours of the assassination into residential only areas finally killing 3 in Kyirat Milachi.

* Israel dropped leaflets over Gaza urging civilians to stay away to terrorists because shit is going to down.

* Waiting for shit to go down.

don't both sides constantly hit each other with rockets. And isn't Israel violating international law by even having such a large presence there adding to the list of things that they do that violate international law.

not to pick a side here but your recap makes it sound like israel was just sitting quietly then suddenly rockets...

rockets everywhere.

Israel does not constantly fire rockets into gaza and Hamas breaks international law every time it fires a rocket into Israel.

Because Israels objective isnt to hurt civilians, its to get rid of the terrorists.

How likely is it that the Muslim Brotherhood will get involved?

The Muslim Brotherhood on Thursday called on Egypt's government to sever diplomatic relation with Israel over what it described as ongoing Israeli "crimes" in Gaza, according to Egypt Independent.

The group reportedly also reiterated its calls for anti-Israel protests nationwide on Thursday afternoon and for a rally at Al-Azhar Mosque following Friday prayers.

In a press release, cited by Egypt Independent, the Brotherhood criticized US support for Israel and blamed Arab countries for "doing nothing while watching the bloodshed in Palestine."

The Brotherhood concluded by urging the Palestinian Authority to halt security cooperation with the Israeli army and to release Hamas and Islamic Jihad prisoners.

At some point someone has to say we've had enough...You hit me.. I hit you.. but you hit me first...You don't belong here but I do....The perpetual hate... The indoctrination that the other side is bad when in reality both sides are bad and good and in between.....It's all retarded and immature in my opinion....I know it would be incredibly hard to forgive the murder of your family and move on but it is about the only way to coexist peacefully..... We can only hope that the future generations of these two nations will be open minded and smarter because the chance for peace does not rest with the current generation...They're too mentally warped and there is no turning back..

I still find it funny of those from the western world who talk down Israel, and try to make its enemies look like good people. Last I checked most the liberties we have in the western world would get you beheaded by these people.

But I've not studied up on these countries lately, so they might be more humanitarian than I remember.

You don't even know what international law is and if you did, you would never have mentioned it. If there is one country in the world that does not care about international law at all, it would be Israel.

The Israel-Palestina conflict is a bomb waiting to explode. It has become way too complex for a solution.

Yea my dad saw a bunch of tanks being towed down to the border on his way to work today lol. I havnt been on a military base for a couple months so i have no idea if they have Trophy's but i doubt Israel is bringing anything less then their best into gaza right now.

If you happen to know the cities they live in i'd gladly let you know if rockets have fallen in their area or if they are even in the line of fire.

Update: 80 rocket launching sites have been taken out since the first rocket fell in Tel Aviv and ground forces are in position waiting for orders.

The people of Gaza aren't really the problem... it's the asshats known as Hamas... If any innocent blood is spilled, it should be on their hands.

As long as Israel keeps treating the citizens of Gaza as 2ndgrade people, they will never have peace. They are forcing the people of Gaza to become extremists so they use that as an excuse to whipe them out and claim their land.

So I take it, it's probably still punishable by death to sale property to a Jew.

You know how those people for Kony 2012 didn't really know shit about anything. They might maybe have just googled something then they threw their full weight and pride into a response thinking themselves well informed and now completely educated on the topic...

that's how that response reads to me. That might not have been your intention but that's all i got out of it.

There are very good reasons to talk down Israel especially if you're living in the west, regardless of the actions of Hamas. Talking down Israel is not automatic support of Hamas and everything that they represent. This conflict isn't about who represents a more western lifestyle. It's not about which side is right or wrong. They're both wrong at this point. But one of them is wrong while having the weight of the western world(mainly the US) at it's back and the other is wrong with a lot of nothing behind it.

... I get that from a lot of your post.

The thing I found funny was the hypocrisy, if that wasn't clear to you. Not the fact Israel is a shining example of how Hamas should run things. Just found the hypocrisy of the westerns talking Israel down while trying to make Hamas look good, funny.

Right cause one genocide for the jews wasnt enough? :palm:

Anyways more updates, we bomb ~130 more terror targets over night. Israel agreed to a temperary cease fire while Egypts PM came to visit gaza if gaza stop launching rockets as well. As of right now the PM is in gaza and hamas is still launching rockets, not sure if Israel is or not.

Edit; reports saying Israel is still striking northern Gaza.
