This sport is bullshit.

I will sacrifice a goat to Thor to show my gratitude for Silfverberg and Zibanejad tonight.

God I love hockey! Honestly, after a good season of hockey, I just can't stand watching other sports as they are so boring. Effing soccer players always being cry babies, nba raises criminality in the hood, football is like one match per month and the seasons lasts three weeks, golf and tennis are for queers...What am I gonna watch, curling? Although Cheryl Bernard is kinda hot.

If the wings don't make the playoffs this year detroit is going to go up in flames. We will officially have no good team left.

So how about that Iginla deal... I'm quite displeased with Jay Feaster for giving Jarome away for a bag of pucks.

*ignores all off topic messages* Yeah I'd get it if they'd get the first round pick for iginla, but not even that, I guess he really wanted to move to win the cup before retiring, since his contract was running out this summer. Same for Morrow I guess?

Vokoun + Fleury tagteaming the net is gonna be impressive too. I remember avalanche building up a team like this to get the cup and lost due to shitty 2nd goalie when the 1st one got injured a few years back

Well the deal for Iggy was a 1st Round Draft pick, Ben Hanowski, and Kenneth Agostino. The draft pick is probably going to be one of the last 4 picks in the first round, Ben Hanowski is inconsistent, and Kenneth Agostino is consistent but isn't enough for someone like Jarome Iginla. It is also possible to get that hidden gem with the draft pick or perhaps trade that pick for someone that will help the Flames.

Can we keep this thread on-topic. If you want to argue about Soccer or some other sport, take it to another thread.

I'd understand if you'd trade with a team that will give you top 10 draftpick in a good draft year but getting the 25th or higher pick feels MEH. Must've been something else behind it like iginla not wanting to stay. Even if iginla isnt as good as he was a few years back he's still a veteran you'll need on the ice and in the dressing room

Kadri is on Fire, as well as Lupul. I am loving every second of it so far.
