I posted some cool infos below. Read them!

Hello guys!

At the moment I'm working on a project and I need to come up with a good slogans. At the moment these are the 3 best variations and I want to hear other people opinion before I continue.
I excluded the company name because that's now important in this case. Just think of a company that specializes in offering only one thing. It could be a bakery that only makes cakes, it could be a sportswear company that only makes sneakers, etc.

I also added a poll in case some are to lazy to write something. :D

So here they are:

1. The best (product name) - nothing else

2. Simply the best (product name) - nothing else

3. The very best (product name) - nothing else

Thanks for the help ! :yay:

The cool info:

So the full ad is:

(on a black background with white lettering)
Simply the best poker deals - nothing else
(on the right bottom corner, in smaller lettering it's the site address)

I know that this could've been improved in many ways to express the same thing not as literal, but with the time given I'm really happy with it.

It's based on the research that most poker deals site in order to lure new players/clients use training videos, strategy articles and many other extra stuff. Since they invest in those methods of attracting new players, they sacrifice some of the money that could be given to the new players.

The ad is for a site I work with. They only focus on bringing the best deals, not on attracting clients with useless stuff. Since most of the ads there promise "free money","free membership","free training videos","we s**k your d**k if you join", etc. I think this ad it's quite different from the rest and will stand above.

Thanks for those who voted!

hm they all look generic but then again its not like your whole carreer depends on it lol. I'd go with

the best.
[product logo/name]

all lower case and the period in the end :3

Number 2 - Sounds more laidback IMO.

If would be interesting if people posted why they chose option 2 as opposed to the 2 other ones. I think that would contribute to your project a lot more.

Although they're all pretty generic; the first one is just too bland, too short. The last one just doesn't sound right, it doesn't roll off the tongue smoothly.

Take for example, your product is soft drink.

1. The best soft drink
2. Simply the best soft drink
3. The very best soft drink

Usually when best is used, it already means that it's...well the best; so using 'very' in front of it sounds redundant.

However, when using option 2, your product name should come before.
Ex. Coca-Cola, simply the best.

#2 just rolls off the tongue better and sounds more natural

Maybe it's just me but the company name is incredibly important to the slogan. A lot of the top slogans that come to my mind use the company name as a play on words with the rest of the sentence. For example, the internet provider Dodo has the slogan "Dodo, dodo, internet that flies". First of all, it adds a touch of humour because the dodo was a flightless bird. The pun also lies in the use of the world fly, implying that they provide a high speed connection to their customers. If the slogan was "Eagle, internet that flies" than it honestly loses a lot of value.

Point in case, I will refuse to pick an option as they are all generic and terrible and without the company name I can't fully evaluate it's worth.

That's exactly why I haven't voted either. The company and/or product name itself is far too important. If the product has a name that doesn't go well with the slogans, then it just wont work regardless of how generic they are.

Whenever I see some product calling itself the best I always get skeptical. I'd go with something else if I were you.

Me too. I never actually pay attention to advertising. If I like it, I buy it. Some of the ads on TV and the radio are really annoying and make me think if the authors of them are stupid or they really want people to hate them.

I agree with you both. I wish half of that crap was taken off the air.
