You have a severe lack of depth as your lighting is washing out everything, your focal, bg, everything. I would recomend some tutorials focused on depth and effects. Goto

Also I dont agree with your choice for BG color/effects. A troll with blood red eyes generally doesnt complement warm summer sherbet colors with swirly flowy accent lines.
