 Post subject: how do you "add image" in photoshop cs 2

ok first of all i am a complete tool when it comes to photoshop and sigs and what not.. i've only just started using it.... ok in the sticky of ol3n's tut on the sigs.. in step 11 and up it says to go to image, then add image,... in photoshop cs2 there is no add image option under the image drop down menu.. if someone could explain to me where to find it on cs2 and also what image am i exactly adding? i've learned a little about layers and such.. please help.. thanks

he either meant apply image or duplicate, I think.

so does that mean i'd make a copy of the main layer.. and just edit it?

Apply image makes it so whatever is visible on the sig right now, can be pasted into a new layer.

ugh i'm still a bit lost.. lol i kno the apply image command.. could you explain that more in lamans terms (i kno i cant spell)

Creat a new layer, than at the top of you screen find were it sais Image and click it, than just click Add image.

i kno i kno.. im a bit dumb.. haha ok ok so let me see what you said.. the apply image... ok so your saying.. for example if we take the main image.. and then edit it .. then copy it and then apply image.. apply image does the exact same thing you did to the first image?? haha sorry hope that makes sense

olen: but what im saying is.. photoshop cs 2 doesnt have "add" image under the image drop down.. it has apply image tho.. they the same thing?
