If you mean that you cut her out to distort the background, you would have better and cleaner results by doing this. Make a New Layer, go to Image > Apply Image, apply whatever filters you wanted, go to your layers menu and i think the 2nd button from the left on the bottom is Vector masks, add one. Now the way it works if you don't know is it allows you to pick where or what is visible in the layer and how much. You control it with how strong and what kind of a brush you're using. If you brush in black on it, it takes away from the layer and shows whats underneath (what you'd wanna do over the girl in the main focus parts so she's not distorted), brushing in white makes anything you've taken away back to visible.
So basically, do what you did without cutting her out, then use a vector mask and brush in black over her to show the layers underneath where she wasn't distorted. I would recommend using a low opacity/fill setting on the edges to make it blend.
