i viewed that tut before. i can accomplish a clipping mask easily. i just really need to figure out how and where and when to use them i guess.

it would be nice if u can write a little explanation to each of the blending modes, a lot of them seem to do similar thing or do nothing at all.

Ohh, can you include how to use c4d's becuase i actually dont, because c4ds come with like a black background so id ont know how to use them and how to get the effect expected when using them, in noooobb

Dont just splash on a random C4D look for one with flow, and then cut it up and place the pieces where it looks like a flow..
ANYWAYS.....

well idk ive modelled in c4d a couple of times but never used the render.
what you could try is layer from background and then delete black with
magic eraser. thats how i normally get things transparent.

to clarify, color dodge will make the colors in the layer more or less transparent based on their luminosity (is that correct?), so black will be more or less completely transparent.

i use the free hand lasoo tool, then i use eraser tool at 80% strength

Thanks everyone that clarified it for me.
@ Ol3n I always use pentool to cut stuff ill i need to learn is making continuous curves, and curve segments to straight segments
