why an enter page if you're not preloading any flash content? It's redundant and pointless, people already know they're going to your page and you already have your name across your header.
Papyrus is a commonly used font, it's dead, people killed it, use something else. kill the outer glow layer style on the guild name. kill the goldish stroke aroud the blood drop. I realize it's your guild thing or whatever, but it looks very tacky.
Why are you trying so hard to push a color scheme with red in it when gold goes so much better with blue and its already in your server icon thing (firetree)
isnt red the horde thing? blue the alliance thing? find a fitting color scheme.
there is a mess of other things I could tack, but I covered the main things.
As far as functionality goes the site is o.k. - you have a few positioning issues, esp with the movie clip area.
Thanks for the response! Anyway, I plan to eventually makea guild video and turn it into a nice widescreen flash video for the enter screen so that explains that I hope. As for papyrus, it has always been our guild font. That text with the styling and everything has always been RoyalBlood.
Red and gold are colors of royalty and blood, hence our guild colors. Our server thing is is actually just the alliance crest with the text Firetree which I created. (there are no server-specific logos). I guess red is actually a horde color and blue alliance so you have a point. However, I wasn't about to change our guild colors especially because they actually have meaning.
The gold outline around the blood drop was kindof bothering me too. The original had a purpleish line (royalty), but I didn't like it, so I changed it to gold. I have never thought of just deleting it (silly me). I will have to experiment with it some more. Thanks for the tip!
O and also, say I was going to change the font. I am not an expert in the ways of fonts. What looks would you reccommend?
Thank you for taking time to look at and critique my site! It is people like you that have brought it to where it is today. (If you ever saw 1.0 you know what I mean.)
