Today I got the Chestplate of the Great Aspects it's <3 for healing. I also go the PvE Ret chest because no one was ret in our vault group. I also hate the divine plea nerf.

Holy Paladin Nerfs in the upcoming patch make me QQ
Sacred shield on one target
IoL changing from instant FoL/HL cast decrease to a crit increase which is utterly useless
sadness D:

Holydin QQ deserves no mercy, if you're gonna QQ about the nerfs, you need to L2P. Holydins are like the core of OP. The reason arena is hard is because there's just so many of them around. And what happens when they get high enough rating? They start farming honor in BG which ruins the fucking game. Imagine this, 3 holydins guarding a flag in AB, and when the ADD alliance isn't going for the first horde clothie that runs past and decides to zerg one, guess what, 2 others will heal the one getting zerged, and if that's not enough there's DS, HoP and the ever useful fuck you button LoH.

Yep paladins are a real pain in the ass sometimes.
But at least your alliance people zerg, on my server they don't even buff, never heal, everyone goes around solo and we can only win at 5 am when all the hordies are sleeping.

Thinking of starting one. Do they still level slow as ****, or have the ret (initial) buffs helped.

so i need some help on my holy paladin
just got her to lvl 70 as ret. i've been collecting holy gear as i leveled, and i've healed through most of the dungeons pretty well as ret (w/ holy paly glyphs). right now, i'm thinking of going to 80 as ret then respeccing.
but here's the prob. i'll be completely noob at the holy talents, especially concerning oom rates, beacon of light, and holy shock.
i'm reading up guides on holy paly healing right now, but i wanna know about ur guys' experiences wit holy paladins. even better if u played one.

Holy Paladin healing isn't too hard, I would say the hardest part is keeping up your mana. Beacon the tank precede to heal who ever needs healing. Use sacred Shield if there's a lot of aoe happening and you feel it's to hard to keep up with the healing. Don't use FoL alot, use Holy shock for infusion of light or a quick heal. Yeah that's how I usually heal Heriocs whatnot. Pretty sure that pretty much covers it. Use divine plea when you don't really need to heal that often.

It ends up not being effective unless you have alot of SP. It's better to let the tank go to a lower amount of health and use Holy light. In the end it just helps save mana.

I used only flash of light and I still got 2nd healing, after a druid. But I understand druids is always #1 in healing anyways. But seriously, pve healing has got to be the easiest job of all.

I have a retadin and ironically, I am leveling faster than I did on my hunter, which is procclaimed to be the fastest leveler. I don't know why, pally's don't bore me with the AoE beastiness.

As I mentioned in my previous post about pallys are faster than hunter, I was wrong, no doubt. On my last hunter, Im not sure what I did wrong, maybe it was the instances/BGs that slowed me down. Back on topic, pallys will level fast once they respec prot at 40 and AoE grind.

I have a 45 ret pally and a 63 BM hunter, and honestly, i got to 63 on Hunter faster than i got to 45 on my pally. And also, i did Recruit a Friend with both, and boosted myself with my DK on my pally, which i didnt do on my hunter because its on a different realm, and i still leveled faster.

Pally -> 40 is slower then hunter -> 40. Pally 40 -> 80 is much faster then hunter 40 -> 80 if you know what you're doing.

Zero_Doom wrote: iGod wrote: You can turn that on in interface if you want Not sure why you'd want to... >.< lol I have my name turned on and I absolutely HAVE to have it on. I don't know why it bothers me to not see it OT: Yesterday we kept running into this 80 rogue (we're 65) in Nagrand. I died as soon as she touched me (rogue) but my brother and husband took her down 3 times. Ret pally + disc priest FTW. Then I think she got pissed she got owned by 65s and started corpse camping us when our priest ran out of mana. She still had trouble with the pally

Doesn't hunter level fastest? My 58 hunter clocked only 2 days 7 hours.

I'd take druids (after lvl 20) into consideration for fastest levellers.
