I chose knight elves I believe. I made a druid. I'm going to see if I can get my mom to lend me her Credit card. This game seems fun.

Horde ofc Don't listen to this man, for the Alliance! Also, horde leveling is boring compared to alliance, all those straw huts etc.. Oh and you don't need a credit card to get the full game, you can also buy it in a store and upgrade with that.

Did a 10 man Naxxramas raid earlier, we downed the Arachnid Quarter easy. Then we went to the Plague Quarter, downed Noth the Plaguebringer with 8 man because 2 DPS were trapped outside, took like 15 minutes but still manageable. Heigan the Unclean was a mess, his lava blows is really tough, range gets killed in like 1 hit or so. We got wiped some times so we went to Construct Quarter and got Patchwerk.

Hey I'm just reinstalling my WoW disk from looong ago. (It's a real copy) - and I'm considering playing again. Edit: Seen that you get flamed for trying to play on a Private Server. Problem is I've got no idea how to play the game anymore. ;x played SRO for too long. This version I have though, is the original version of World of Warcraft is well... World of Warcraft, not Burning Crusade or the other expansion. So would you recommend me getting those expansions? (I don't know if I need them or not to play Official). Thanks

I'd recommend getting Burning Crusade at least, because then you can quest in the well designed new areas. I know you're Australian, so I'd suggest playing on the same server as me, but you'd probably rather a PvP server.
Any questions, feel free to ask here.

Any questions, feel free to ask here. Ok Thanks Well, currently I'm looking to play any server. I'll go buy the Burning Crusade Exp. in a few days more than likely. Also, what's the difference between servers on there? PvP Servers? PvE Servers? Raid Servers? I played Pvt. Servers before and generally the ones, 1 kill Lv70 but am looking forward to playing the game as it is meant to be played. Also; how much monthly does this game cost? (Not looking forward to this part). Thanks

PvP is pretty much you can fight anywhere anytime. There isn't a "raid" server. The actual game is nothing like a private server, it's a lot more involved. For us, when the dollar is strong, about $17 a month. When it's like it is now, timecards average it to $20 a month.

I guess that isn't too bad considering I was paying well into the $100 per month on SRO. I look forward to playing. I first have to update my current WoW I think, then buy BC and update it to current update

If you want easier patching, I'd suggest just buying them all, because WotLK has basically EVERYTHING on the one disc. Much easier, especially with what internet is like over here. You'll still need the other discs for the CD-keys though. (I'm asusming you already have an account thanks to your original disc) If you want to play on Cael despite it being a PvE server, roll Ally and hit me up. I'll help you out with some things.

Ok sounds good. Yea I plan on buying them, I was just seeing the patch the and its only 713MB however at the internet speed of Australia, it said 13 hours ;x I was like screw that. I'd rather buy the disks than download for that long. I'll just go to EB Games sometime in tomorrow or day after and buy Lich King.

With the LK disc, you've only got one sorta large patch, and a minor patch after that, and you're good to go until we get the next content update.

That's why I downloaded Silkroad 9th Degree patch when I was in the US. It was so fast! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to ;P

Content patches are few and far between, so there's very few large patches you'll ever have to download once up-to-speed. Plus once you see the sheer size of areas, you'll understand why it's so large.

Haven't had much time too play unfortunatly. So i'm still 73, but fully rested this time. Got like 5 quests left in Howling fjord for the achievement, and then i'll move on to dragonblight i think. Or grizzly?

/cheer Ive done every heroic (5-man heroic) now! Last night i got bored so i decided to go solo some tbc instances since even though i did them all a million times on heroic that was before achievements were implemented so it thinks i didnt :| I soloed ramparts, blood furnace, underbog and slave pens. I need to try sethekk halls and arcatraz today! I dont think they are gonna be quite so easy. I tried to solo ramparts on heroic aswell, trash only has like 24k ish health but they hit too hard EDIT: Sethekk halls done! ANOTHER EDIT: yeah, arcatraz isnt happening right now, maybe if i was a little more patient i could do it but, meh.

I didn't really like grizzly, just did dragonblight till 74 then went to zul'drak. grizzly is too spread out, too time consuming imo
