That's probably because DKP is an add-on specific acronym.

I thought DKP came from Diablo.
The like end boss or something was a big dragon, and you were Assigned loot depending on how many Dragon Kill (Points) you had.
If not Diablo, it was from another MMO for sure.

Just ran razorfen kraul on my lvl 24 orc warrior, and one of the bosses dropped a nice blue helm which I could use. Then the hunter in my group needed it as well, thinking it might be an accident i asked him if I could have it. He said he was going to give it to a friend and left the group. It is a BoP item

Ran a couple of HC's, got the Moonkin cloak from Ahune, PUGged ToC10, got a new moonkin neck, bought 264 craftable feral boots, bought Conquest tanking ring, came.
