All servers will be undergoing extra server inspection regarding the massive bot punishment.
Abnormal client (ex: Hacking client with unnatural data) is not accessable after the inspection and will be punished strongly if one tries to access with such a client.
Please re-setup the normal client whoever uses the abnormal client and we recommend you not to use illegal program such as bot program right away.
Thankyou.
Inspection Period : 2007/7/20 11:00~12:30 Silkroad Standard Time (1 hour 30 minute duration)
i would remove ALL PK2 edited files from you r machine if i were you. back them up if you wish, but do a clean install before you try to connect.

Yes,
It is well encouraged to remove all Pk2 edits just incase this Inspection also targets those clients with Pk2 edits as well...
However, YAY bots go bye bye...

"...we recommend you not to use illegal program such as bot program right away."
Sometimes the Korean to English translator they use leaves me unimpressed. Or maybe the Korean language is naturally understated so a better translation might be: "stop using the goddam bots or your gonna lose all your crap, fool."
MrBow wrote: Ok, so this action makes silkroad botfree?
Well, obviously we don't know yet so anyone who answers affirmatively or negatively is a noobtard. I think every legit certainly hopes so. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm pretty sure the right away is just poor translation.
Please re-setup the normal client whoever uses the abnormal client and we recommend you not to use illegal program such as bot program right away.
->
You should not be using any 3rd party programs. Examples would be modified clients or bots. If you wish to continue playing, delete them, and re-download the normal client right away to prevent loss of your account.

at least they will get rid of most the bots until they find another way to get on lol
i think this update is just to try and remove as many bots and pk2 stuff before the euro update comes out so people can actually get on the new stuff quicker and easier ^_^ they can't help trying to get more people to play, bots are not a profit to them anyway
